10-Year Structural Warranty
Every Oak & Walnut piece carries a 10-year structural warranty from the date of delivery or collection. We can offer it because we know what is inside the furniture.
What is covered
- Timber frames, legs and carcass panels — against cracking, splitting or structural failure under normal domestic use
- Joinery — mortise-and-tenon, dowel and corner joints coming loose or separating
- Drawer runners and hinges — mechanical failure
- Manufacturing defects of any kind
What is not covered
- Natural movement in solid timber — slight seasonal expansion and contraction, and colour change with light exposure, are properties of real wood, not faults
- Surface marks from normal use — scratches and water rings in an oiled finish can be sanded back and re-oiled at home; we will send you the oil free of charge for the life of the warranty
- Commercial or outdoor use
- Damage from misuse, alteration, or transport by a third party after delivery
How to claim
Email info@oakwalnut.com.au with your order number and a photograph. We answer within business hours, seven days a week. Valid claims are resolved by repair, replacement part, or full replacement — our choice, at no cost to you, including freight.
This warranty sits on top of your rights under Australian Consumer Law. It does not replace them.
