About Oak & Walnut
Oak & Walnut is an Australian online furniture company. We sell solid hardwood cabinetry — sideboards, buffets, entryway storage, mirrors — directly from our own warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Online only, deliberately
We do not run showrooms. A showroom floor costs a great deal of money, and that money comes out of the timber. Removing it is how a solid American oak sideboard ends up priced where a veneered one usually sits.
What we spend it on instead: better boards, real joinery, our own delivery trucks, and people who answer the phone.
Answered while you wait
Live chat, email and phone are staffed 9am–5:30pm, seven days. In business hours, chat and email are answered in minutes, not days — usually by someone who can tell you the moisture content of the board you are asking about.
Warehouse pickup
We are an online store. There are no showrooms — but you are welcome to collect your order, free of charge, from any of our three warehouses.
